Harry Mink is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) who helps people buy, sell, and value both Main Street and low-end mid-market businesses. Harry founded Alpha Business Group to bring the professional standards of high-tech, consultive sales to the business brokerage field. He has appraised hundreds and sold over 70 small businesses. Harry has over thirteen years of professional experience in mergers & acquisitions, transition consulting and appraisal of privately held businesses. Throughout his career, Harry has been involved with business transactions in nearly every industrial sector. Harry experiences success in capital, high-tech sales, marketing, and management, a skill set he brings to the business intermediary field.
Over the years, Harry has won numerous awards and has consistently been one of the top revenue producers for such firms as: Fisher Scientific, Jarrell-Ash, Bausch & Lomb, and Cadence Design. Besides direct sales, he has extensive corporate management experience at the Director and Vice President levels. A graduate of San Jose State in the field of chemistry, he has most recently studied, apprenticed, and has now successfully applied those intermediary skills for the benefit of the client as a fiduciary.
Harry is licensed in Massachusetts for commercial real estate transactions that are directly involved in the ownership transfer of a business. Harry is a member in good standing of the following professional trade organizations: International Business Brokerage Association (IBBA), M&A Source, the New England Business Brokers Association (NEBBA) and the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA). He has attained Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) status with IBBA and was also a recent Member of the NEBBA Board of Directors having served as its President.
