John has influenced and directed strategic mergers and acquisitions for technology driven companies ranging from Fortune500 to owner operated. John has recently completed an M&A strategy to grow and exit from Fandotech LLC, an MSPmentor Global 100 technology services provider. He is now focusing his energy to assist business owners shape their transition and growth strategies.
Prior to Fandotech, John held positions in sales and marketing at Cisco Systems’ introducing Voice/Video/Data convergence to the market. At Northeast Utilities for 18 years in nuclear plant startup, SCADA software development and the company’s Chief Technologist, he merged the unregulated fiber optics interests of CMP, NU, NEES to form, fund and IPO NEON (NOPT: NASDAQ). John has a proven track record of building business value in critical operations industries. He has consulted around the world to assist the creation and operation of telecom facilities in Tokyo, Japan, São Paulo and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, as well as nationally within the US.
John is a graduate of the College of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island and has a current Professional Engineers license in the state of Connecticut. He volunteers time regularly for non-profit Geo-Thermal engineering projects in New England.
